From myth to reality! The myth: A couple years ago I decided to buy a Volvo S60 2006 from a previous owner. Although it was not a recent model I still acquired the car because it seemed to be in a fair shape and I was willing to spend some money in it with the hope that it would last for some years. With that perspective, I considered a good idea to place the car in the hands of "experts" in European Vehicles to ensure good results in the condition and maintenance of my car, but believing that only a Volvo Service Center was my best option was a myth which resulted in a considerable waste of time, money and energy for me. I got to bring my Volvo S60 3 times to a Volvo Service Center, and all three times I had to wait more than 3 weeks for an appointment, about 10 days or more for the car to be ready, went through the torture of not knowing about my car for days because the Service Advisor did not contact me and the car always had issues again once I got it back. The last time the car was given to me with low level coolant, and I had to refill it. The reality: One day I happened to pass by Road Ready Mechanic Shop and decided to write down the phone number because it might be useful in case of an emergency, not to mention the convenience of being located 3 blocks from my home, and certainly that was a very good idea. A couple days later my Volvo broke down in the middle of the Southern State Parkway, and I managed to take it out of the highway to a safe place. A police officer passed by and suggested me to call a mechanic shop, and I just remembered that I had the phone number of Road Ready in my mobile. I called them and they gave me the phone number of a tow truck. In less than one hour my car was at Road Ready. It was a Friday, and on Monday I was already contacted by Steven, and after a few hours a very accurate review on my car was available. Immediately I realized that my car was in excellent hands, which absolutely had not to be Volvo specialists, instead, professionals with the desicion to solve problems, take initiative, find the issues, solve them and respect the customer, that is the reality!!!. In about 3 days my car was repaired, I did not need a long waited appointment and at all the time I was up to date about was going on. Road Ready made a very detailed review of what my car needed to be running in the excellent way it is now, Thanks Road Ready!!!!!!
